Countdown Merdeka with Fireworks!
To all my friends,
I'll be organising a trip to Putrajaya to watch the fireworks! The date is set for 30th Aug, 2007 on the eve of Merdeka Day which is a public holiday for all of us ;)
So here's the info from the ticketpro website, where you get the best view from venue PICC.
Price Category:
1st - With Dinner & Drinks - 148.50 RM
2nd - Without Dinner & Drinks - 38.50 RM
BUT THEN Again... wouldn't it be priceless to drive ourselves there, get ourselves a nice spot on one of the bridge near MOF, before the fireworks start firing at 10pm?
So what's your asnwer (click post comment below) :
Option A - buy the RM38.50 tickets, get front view from PICC
Option B - dont buy the tickets, find our own spot surrounding Putrajaya.

Vote option B. Coz Mei Joon will use her "power" from "The Secret" to find a good place.
Many of BGF-ers had seen that movie.. potential to find a good place. Hahaha.

I'm thinking of getting someone with Maybank creditcard, to use the 20% discount on the rm38.50 so, we each of us pay rm30.80
Now im getting quotation for a bus, or better everybody carpool from BGF?
you mean drive to BGF to gather, then drive to Putrajaya? Double driving

the firework firing zone is on the gemilang bridge, right directly opposite the convention centre where ppl have to burn their wallet to watch. so if u were to ask me about a budget FOC nice spot to watch the fireworks, shall i suggest the middle of the boulevard road futher beyond the bridge. it is like instead of watching the fireworks from the convention centre u are looking at it on the opposite direction. PS: to put things in a more clearer picture shall i suggest to google earth the location...
n oh ya if any of u r organising a car pool I WANNA JOIN!!! haha n juz for ur info this coming sat 18 aug got opening ceremony liao no need wait until merdeka eve onli can watch!!!
