[BGF] CNY Announcement

Chap Goh Meh Celebration
There will be celebration at BGF Centre on Chap Goh Meh night, the 4th March 2007, Sunday @ 7.00 pm. It will be pot-luck dinner. Please bring food / fruits at 6.30 pm. We will have games and singing performance on the day.

All are welcome to attend. Bring a friend along. On behalf of BGF we would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you "A Very Happy Chinese Year - Gong Xi Fa Chai".

Dhamma Talk By Luang Por Liem
Please to inform Luang Por Liem Thitadhammo from Thailand will be giving dhamma talk on 2nd March 2007, Friday, 8.30 pm at BGF Centre on Buddhism with power point presentation.

Biodata:
Luang Por Liem Thitadhammo ("LPL") was born in Thailand on 5/11/1941. At age 20 he went for higher ordination and joined Forest Tradition in 1969 and trained under Luang Pu Chah or the famous Ajahn Chah (Ajahn Brahmavamso' s preceptor) at Wat Nong Pah Pong.

In 1982 when Ajahn Chah was ill, LPL was entrusted with the running of the monastery and eventually because the Abbot.
Awarded Tan Chao Kun Visuddhi - Samvara Thera title by His
Majesty the King of Thailand. LPL is teacher and preceptor to the foreign monks of Wat Pah Nanachat.

RECYCLE CHINESE NEW YEAR CARDS
Do you have any left over or unwanted Chinese New Cards?...If so, do not waste it as BGF is now collecting recycle Chinese New Cards for a good cause.

Collection details as follows:-
Tuesday to Friday: Between 2 pm - 9.30 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10.00 am - 5.00 pm

Please place the cards beside the shoe rack at BGF Centre, 1st Floor, 60A, Jalan 19/3, Petaling Jaya.

That was the paintball game played last year at MudTrekker, Kuang (off Sungai Buloh) which consist of Incovarians and their friends. Those who were there will definitely remember the pain but also the fun that we had.

Another game is up but also calling in the Subang Jaya Buddhist Association Youth Section (SJBA YS) to join in the action.

Do join us if you:
...... feel like shooting... people... without the guilt!
...... wanna the thrill of holding the marker (gun).
...... enjoy pain (???)
...... never played before.
...... have been sitting at home a little too long.

I tell you, if you walk into my house and my dad sees you in YELLOW, habis... everybody laugh their head off! So this Saturday (24th Feb), from 7pm onwards. Since I'm inviting everybody to come to my house, I was thinking what if everybody got DIGI-ized and turn up in bright yellow attire. Wakakakazz... :D

Just because my dad has invited all his Malay cllg to come for this Sunday, he thinks our house couldn't fit so many ppl, he need to set up a tent. Since I have a party on Saturday night, so I could use the tent too, without requesting for it.. yet I have to split the tent bill with him. Like DOHH??!!

Now since I'm already having a tent for the party and its a potluck event, my aunt say "why not I invite my children's nanny family staying nearby to come?". My mom say "why not I invite your grandma & your ahku & ahyee to come?". My cousin bro who's coming back on this Saturday itself called and asked "since you're having a party can I bring my friends over? like not more than 10 of em?".

OK.. I have to say yes to all right... its a POTLUCK, anybody can come, just bring some food will ya?!
